We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Public Institutions (PI) group supporting the Air Force (AF) Portfolio Management team, providing oversight for the Military Housing Privatization Initiative (MHPI). MHPI is a Public-Private Partnership (P3) Program that involves a 50-year ground lease between the Air Force and private sector residential developers. MHPI projects are master-planned residential communities located at Air Force Installations in the US.

Project Managers work with the CIMC Branch Chief to achieve the goal of the Air Force housing privatization program: To provide military families access to safe, quality, affordable, well-maintained housing communities where they choose to live.

Location: Client is located in San Antonio, TX but position may be remote so long as travel can be arranged as needed

Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Review all current HP data - quantitative and qualitative - to assess performance of the MHPI portfolio and provide analysis, develop insights, and recommendations for improvement. Identify opportunities for shortening lead time on KPI development and using data visualization software to facilitate AF decision making.
Internal Compliance Oversight: Establish an understanding of all laws, policies, regulations, and contractual agreements pertaining to Air Force oversight of MHPI projects. Review and assess Program Management Office (PMO) procedures and products to ensure compliance with laws, policies and regulations.
Program Management: Provide daily administrative and/or technical assistance to AF leaders responsible for evaluating and improving oversight of MHPI projects at 63 locations across the Continental US. Travel as needed to perform detailed observations.
Program Administration: Assist with creative and collaborative problem-solving efforts. Develop written products including detailed analysis and staffing packages for senior leaders utilizing AF templates and writing conventions. Prepare and/or deliver presentations. Coordinate, facilitate and manage meetings with the goal of identifying problems, establishing priorities, developing solutions and monitoring progress.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, public policy, real estate or related field preferred.
Minimum of 4 years work experience.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, organization, time management, client relationship and project management skills.
Self-motivated and ability to take initiative within established parameters.
Excellent business/verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally in written communication.
Ability to meet deadlines, demonstrate flexibility and work in fast-paced team environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be a team player.
Willingness to travel.
Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools and Microsoft Office software suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
