Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Market Liaison Group liaises with functional area leads within Operations to track, monitor, support, and escalate (as necessary) Operational Issues. Responsibilities include leading a team that conducts advanced troubleshooting and root cause resolution of operational issues specific to the product supported, including Health Systems specific Value Based Agreement requirements related to Accounts Receivable, and acting as a liaison to the supported product Markets and departments outside Operations including, but not limited to, Utilization Management, Regulatory, Pharmacy, CAG, and Health Partnership.

Essential Functions:

  • Operate as the subject matter expert in root cause analysis activities
  • Manage and monitor incoming ticketing inventory and work requests to ensure service level agreements are met
  • Manage distribution of work to ensure close coordination and collaboration between Market Liaison Group team and Market teams
  • Attend Provider meeting related to Issue Resolution when necessary
  • Create reporting for senior and executive management on timely execution for ticket/work requests and global root cause issues received through ticket/work requests
  • Monitor the quality of processes specific to the products supported, such as ticket receipts, ticket distribution, and service level achievement
  • Provide cross-functional subject matter expertise in support of Operations initiatives and training when needed
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Market leadership and employees, all departments within Operations, and any other areas where collaboration is essential for driving process improvements
  • Partner with departments across the organization to develop and participate in provider education activities
  • Engage direct reports through consistent performance feedback, coaching, and development opportunities
  • Performs any other job related instructions, as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science/Arts degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of health care operations experience in insurance, managed care, or related industry is required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience is required
  • Previous claims experience in government programs and marketplace is required
  • Data analysis and process mapping experience is preferred

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Operations-related processes and systems
  • Demonstrated excellent analysis, attention to detail, and collaboration skills
  • Effective relationship management skills that will build and maintain strong working relationships in a matrix environment
  • Effectively communicate in a matrix environment, with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effectively organize and prioritize multiple initiatives and issues to ensure target dates are communicated and met
  • Critical and creative thinking skills
  • Intermediate proficiency level with Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project, Visio and PowerBI is preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency in Facets or a comparable claims payment software

Licensure and Certification:

  • LEAN/ Six Sigma certification is preferred

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • May be required to travel, estimated at less than 10%

Compensation Range:
$108,600.00 - $190,000.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
