Parkhill is looking to add a Mechanical Professional Engineer to the team. In this role you will be working alongside our MEP/S team creating innovative designs to improve our communities. This is a full-time, exempt position paid on a salary basis.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest. We have 13 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

Your Contribution

  • Prepare reports, plans, construction schedules and studies for review.
  • Interface with Clients when appropriate alongside Project Managers.
  • Visit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications.
  • Direct technicians and EIT's for production of engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently.
  • Research design criteria, regulations, and standards as they relate to projects and incorporate them into design documents.
  • Mentor others in the proficient use of design software.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
  • Passed the Professional Engineer exam and can provide a PE #
  • The ability to use Revit/BIM is required and ability to use Trane Trace 3D is preferred.
  • Previous mechanical building design experience in a consultant capacity is required.
