TDI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Analyst to help coordinate the development, test, manage schedules and delivery of Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) systems for the fleet. This role will directly support the Program's Technical Lead and work with various Product Owners, software engineers and development teams, and Subject Matter Experts with enhancement and integration of a fleetwide CBM+ solution.

Requirements

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Interface between systems, software, and management teams to integrate and unify efforts for a cohesive approach
  2. Prepare, maintain, and manage schedules, requirements, processes, schedules, flow charts, risk matrices, and presentations to improve the program's operations and procedures
  3. Track and analyze efforts, resources, and personnel
  4. Perform data analysis to aid in strategic planning for program development
  5. Assist with program assessments ensuring programmatic goals/milestones are well documented and achieved
  6. Facilitate, lead and help with numerous meetings to include peer, design, program, and testing reviews
  7. Identify, monitor, and help resolve risks and problems encountered by the team
  8. Work with government sponsors and management to monitor project status and formulate plans

Required Education & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline is preferred but other disciplines may be considered
  2. In lieu of a degree, 5 or more years of professional experience in a technical or project analyst role

Desired Skills & Experience:

  1. Proficient in organizing within a team environment, tracking various efforts and elements of tasking
  2. Attention to detail and meticulous record keeping and analysis
  3. Ability to prioritize tasking and manage time effectively
  4. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Project)
  6. Ability to collaborate on a large, geographically distributed, cross functional team
  7. Ability to work independently after some guidance and instruction
  8. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  9. Is skilled in navigating and producing artifacts using Office 365, databases, spreadsheets, and scheduling programs such as MS Project

Additional Preferred Skills:

  1. Understanding or knowledge of Agile software development practices?
  2. Understanding or knowledge of CMMI
  3. Understanding or knowledge JIRA and Confluence software tools

Special Requirements

  1. Successful applicants must either have an active government security clearance or the ability to receive a security clearance upon position acceptance
  2. Must have a valid US passport or the ability to obtain one upon position acceptance

Working Conditions:

The work is typically performed at client site locations in an office environment or Control System Test Labs. Additional work may be performed onboard US Navy Ships (pier side and at sea), which requires proper safety precautions and ability to go up and down shipboard stairways (ladders); work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes, or equipment.
