You will work independently or under direction as needed. Conducts in-depth research and analysis of current business problems to assess, evaluate, and provides input to recommended solutions for American Funds Service Group, North American Client Group, and other areas within Capital Group. You will collaborate with all levels of internal business leaders and external vendors to support and prioritize opportunities to enhance and drive the business processes, services, and products. Key responsibilities:

  • Analyzes complex systems and/or business issues to drive solving business problems
  • Leads and manages projects of varying complexity and size
  • Leads and manages product delivery including planning, resources, implementation, and monitoring.
  • Supports change management efforts for assigned projects to ensure acceptance
  • Interacts with our external vendor and internal partners

  • You manage, monitor, and control overall project execution including, planning, schedules, risk mitigation, and resources.
  • You identify and escalate risks and issues and makes recommendations to project manager and/or steering committees/governing bodies for resolution.
  • You assist in monitoring vendor performance to achieve desired outcomes. Uses facts supported by data to monitor project progress and makes recommendations based on findings.
  • You actively manage project dependencies and cross-project dependencies including prioritization of requirements on behalf of the business.
  • You manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business concurrently.
  • You lead, coach, and indirectly manage individuals and teams across multiple organizations and workstreams.
  • You analyze and identifies trends, help develop recommendations and provide solution options and information to stated problems to help business stakeholders make informed decisions and formulate strategy.
  • You provide thought leadership and engage with business leaders in resolution of business needs, appropriately considering policies, procedures, legal and regulatory impacts
  • You create and support change management efforts to ensure acceptance
  • You partner with project managers and contribute to the development and execution of change management plans including communication, training, and marketing.
  • You partner with the business to ensure the department is sufficiently ready to execute new processes or leverage new technology.
  • You ensure changes are accepted, adopted, and supported by the organization.
San Antonio Base Salary Range: $71,023-$113,637 Orange County Base Salary Range: $86,424-$138,278 Hampton Roads Base Salary Range: $72,884-$116,614 Indianapolis Base Salary Range: $75,646-$121,034

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
