The business transactions paralegal will work on real estate and business entity creation matters and other transactional projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop professional relationships within and outside the firm to achieve continuity and quality work product for clients.
  • Create systems to track and manage transactions for clients.
  • Support all aspects and stages of real estate transactions and business entity creation and maintenance, with an emphasis on document preparation, title and survey review, due diligence review, closing logistics coordination, post-closing administration, and business entity management.
  • Draft and prepares documents for closings, entity creation, entity maintenance, entity dissolution, and more. Documents may include but are not limited to purchase and sale agreements, amendments, closing documents, easement documents, declarations, CC&Rs, letters of credit, deeds, corporate formation documents, annual reports, annual meeting minutes, dissolution documents, and the like
  • Accurately tracking and recording time spent on tasks and projects
  • Performing other duties as required
  • Some duties may require in-office presence.


Education and Experience:


  • 5+ years of real estate or business entity-related experience, including a background in real estate transactions or business entity management.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in paralegal or legal studies from regionally accredited college or university preferred
  • NALA Certification a plus
  • Experience working across offices at a distance desired
  • Experience supporting and closing transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and developments is strongly desired.
  • Must have strong PC skills with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, DocuSign, and Outlook) as well as the ability to learn and use proprietary computer systems and databases.


Pay rate: $86,000 - $102,000/ year

Compensation can vary based on qualifications and experience.
