Patient Technician - Inpatient Rehab

Night Shift - 24 hours

The Inpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit (Meyer 7) is an 18-bed adult inpatient unit, requiring inpatient care Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy services. Our team of experts specialize in rehabilitation care for amputation, spinal cord injury and dysfunction, complex medical conditions, brain injury and illness, musculoskeletal injury, and stroke. A Neuropsychologist is available as part of the care team to provide support to the patient, family, and staff. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team in developing an inpatient and discharge care plan

Ongoing education is provided to all Clinical Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice.

Qualifications:




  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
  • One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.
  • BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.

Salary Range: Minimum 16.86 per hour - Maximum 26.13 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
