Location: Tampa/East Market and Wesley Chapel Area

Inpatient Service: All Children's Hospital, St. Petersburg, 1 week every 5-6 weeks, with On-call and WE coverage

Focus: Pediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Endocrinology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic team in the Tampa and Wesley Chapel area. This role primarily involves outpatient care, with a focus on managing a diverse panel of patients, including those with diabetes, growth disorders, early puberty, dyslipidemia, prediabetes, obesity, and thyroid conditions.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting, with an emphasis on diabetes management.
  • Collaborate closely with a board-certified pediatric endocrinologist to manage patient care, treatment plans, and follow-up appointments.
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
  • Educate patients and families about endocrine disorders, management strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Monitor and track patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in inpatient service at All Children's Hospital for one week every six weeks, ensuring continuity of care for hospitalized patients, overnight and weekend call is required during this week.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment.



Qualifications:




  • Master's degree in Nursing, PNP-AC, PNP-PC or FNP or Physician Assistant program with a focus on pediatric care.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, preferably in pediatrics or endocrinology. New graduates may be considered with strong tie to pediatric endocrinology.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to manage complex cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and families.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development; extensive training will be provided.

Salary Range: Minimum 48.10 per hour - Maximum 74.56 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
