Position title: Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Salary range:
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay at appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $250,000- $450,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. We are seeking faculty members with a focus on the full spectrum of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery to join a large collaborative group practice of urologists and gynecologists. The roles will involve managing a diverse patient population coming from a large referral area and will include practice and coverage at the VAHCS San Diego. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in educating and teaching students, residents, and fellows in Urology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. Possible areas of subspecialty focus could include Neuro-Urology and/or Interstitial Cystitis. The positions offer a dynamic environment for growth and impact in both clinical and academic settings. The positions also offer several potential leadership opportunities, including clinic directorship or fellowship program leadership. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's background and experience. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded. Candidates must have an MD degree or equivalent. Candidates must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the California Medical Board. Candidates must have completed a Urology residency program. Candidates must also be board-certified or board-eligible in Urology. Preferred qualifications
Candidates with at least 1 year of experience in Neuro Urology are preferred. Candidates with Spanish language fluency are preferred. Application Requirements Document requirements
