Working with the Sr. Director of Patient Safety and Quality and the Director of Performance Excellence, the Performance Excellence and Data Quality Program Manager will be responsible for driving continuous process improvement across the organization through the strategic application of performance improvement tools and frameworks, including Lean, Six Sigma, Human Centered Design, and the Baldrige Framework. The Manager will have the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including physicians, clinical staff, finance, administrative partners, and support staff to advance the work of performance improvement across Sibley.

The Performance Excellence and Data Quality Program Manager will apply Program Management Expertise, Lean Six Sigma and other relevant process improvement methodologies to manage and drive operational improvements focused on eliminating waste and improving operational metrics throughout the continuum of care. This position will develop and deploy tools for process improvement to include lean production techniques, systems thinking, project management, change management and other improvement techniques as applicable to deliver rapid and measurable increases in efficiency, improvements in patient care and bottom-line business results. The Manager will partner with executives across the organization to identify strategic opportunities to drive improvement.

Minimum Requirements:




  1. Five Years program management experience required; PMP Certificate preferred
  2. Bachelors or Master's degree in healthcare administration, policy, engineering, or other related field preferred but not required (7 years of experience in healthcare improvement work can substitute for educational requirement).
  3. 5 to 8 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 2 years applying Lean Six Sigma and change management to improve organizational performance
  4. Proven track record of projects deployed in healthcare/hospital environment.
  5. Proven track record and relentless drive for continuous improvement
  6. Proven ability to transform an organization to deliver long-term operational and /or clinical performance.
  7. Experience in formal classroom training and mentoring of healthcare professionals in the application of process improvement to improve health care operations required.
  8. Requires skill and experience in methods of improvement and theories of change. Clear evidence of formal training and successful application of lean and six sigma techniques including Lean problem solving, process mapping, and basic analytical tools.



Salary Range: Minimum 50.77 per hour - Maximum 88.84 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
