Health and wellness programs and MORE! This is an Evening PRN position within Patient Access-Telecom. You must have the ability to work 5 or more shifts per month. Shift times- weeknights 5/6pm-11pm, weekends- 7am-noon, noon-5pm, or 5pm-11pm. MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN FOR 40 HOURS ON THE DAY SHIFT FOR THE FIRST WEEK AFTER HIRE. As a Patient Access Representative for Telecom, you'll: Handle switchboard and transfer calls accordingly. Code alerts via intercom and paging. Deliver exceptional customer service to all patients What you'll bring: HS diploma/GED required. AA Degree preferred. 2+ years of related experience in a call center or medical office environment Critical thinking and demonstrated leadership ability in order to address issues identified within the department Excellent interpersonal skills required to communicate effectively with co-workers, patients, staff and insurance companies Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Keyboarding speed of 40 WPM Knowledge of professional telephone etiquette and soft skills Salary Range: Minimum 19.00 per hour - Maximum 19.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
