Hi, we are Burlington!! The Burlington operation in Raeford, NC has been proudly producing dress uniform fabric for the US Military for more than 50 years. If you or someone you know has ever served in the US Military, whether in the Army, Air force, Coast Guard, Navy or Marines, they have worn Burlington Raeford fabric. Job Purpose: Set up, operate, or tend to machines and equipment to facilitate the ongoing production of textile products. Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities (this is not a complete job description): -Work safely in a fast-paced production environment -Operate high speed sophisticated machinery by managing setting and conducting test to ensure successful machine utilization -Meet or exceed company quality standards -Maintain regular and predictable attendance -Comply with company processes and procedures -Follow verbal and written instructions -Stand, walk lift, bend, stoop and reach while handling material or products -Work cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members, vendors, and visitors -Perform job duties in variable temperatures based on weather condition (including hot weather) -Ensure good housekeeping of all areas and company premises -Successfully complete drug and background screenings Knowledge and Skills Required: -Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly. -Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems. -Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. -Quality Control Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance. -Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others. -Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. -Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. -Repairing - Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools. -Equipment Selection - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
