Overview
S2 Global, an OSI Systems Company is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to work in its Torrance, CA location. We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support deployments of our CertScan platform. You will be part of a systems engineering team that is responsible for designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs. The Network Engineer role is to design, implement, and ensure the stability and integrity of equipment used to provide the data transmissions network required to enable the service provisioned by the customer while ensuring the continuous improvement of these services using industry best practices. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. This position will work both independently and on a team on the design, installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion. Responsibilities 30% Design and deploy region LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless APs and other hardware while providing protection from disaster through redundancy and recovery procedures while working both independently and on a team. 30% Analyze network performance, troubleshoot issues, and make the appropriate decisions independently to repair as needed. 20% Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records. 20% Maintain and manage configurations including ensuring proper documentation is completed and process is followed.

Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as IP subnets, bandwidth, load, capacity, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
