Position Description:

Position Overview
As a Facility Project Manager, you'll manage key infrastructural upgrades, including HVAC, plumbing, and Building Automation Systems (BAS). You will have a hands-on role in major projects, collaborating with contractors, engineers, and internal teams. This position requires flexibility, technical know-how, and a proactive attitude to ensure seamless integration of modern systems with older technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead facility upgrades across mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and BAS controls.
- Collaborate with tenured facilities staff and external contractors to ensure project success from inception to completion.
- Manage the progress of capital and non-capital projects, using FAMIS CMMS to track milestones and close out tasks efficiently.
- Provide project scope development with a focus on sustainability goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and building regulations.
Preferred Schedule:
M-F Standard Business Hours, with the need for some flexiblity
Position Requirements:
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or extensive knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and BAS controls.
- Experience:
- 10+ years in HVAC, Building Automation, or Plumbing systems, ideally in a healthcare environment.
- 3+ years of project management experience in a healthcare or research setting.
