Position: Operations Manager (Wealth Management)
Department: AE Wealth Management
Reporting to: VP of Advisor Services
Overview:
We are searching for a motivated individual to co-lead our dynamic Wealth Management Operations team. This team provides operational support to advisors utilizing our RIA platform, with an emphasis on delivering outstanding service with each interaction. We need someone who is passionate about leading and mentoring people, who is always looking for areas of improvement and who enjoys the challenges that comes along with a fast-paced environment. What you'll do:


  • Manage the daily operations of team to ensure timely, accurate and value-added customer service to advisors
  • Determine how to process complex, corrective, and exception-based transactions
  • Hire, train, and develop operations associates
  • Set clear expectations for team members, monitor progress to goals, and provide regular feedback on performance
  • Assess workflow processes periodically to determine areas for improvement and monitor team's productivity and turnaround times
  • Be an expert and internal resource to employees on operational processes


Experience you'll bring:


  • 3 or more years of experience working in the financial services industry; direct experience in Wealth Management Operations preferred
  • Confident, professional, and articulate in written and verbal communication; ability to build a rapport with all personality types and all levels of staff
  • Strong organizational skills; capacity to manage heavy workload while navigating a variety of competing, ever changing priorities
  • Resourceful in solving problems and maximizing resources



Bonus Points:


  • Series 63/65 or 66
  • Previous management or leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
