Shipping and Receiving Shift: 1st, (8am-6pm) Pay: $21-$25/hr. (Based on experience) We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team in a flat rolled environment. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving and inspecting incoming flat rolled materials, preparing outgoing shipments, and ensuring adherence to strict quality control standards. Key Responsibilities: Unload flat rolled materials from trucks using forklifts or overhead cranes. Visually inspect incoming flat rolled stock for damages, defects, surface imperfections, and dimensional accuracy. Verify quantity and quality against purchase orders and packing slips. Report any discrepancies or damage to appropriate personnel. Properly store flat rolled materials in designated storage areas, considering coil size, material type, and quality. Shipping Flat Rolled Products: Inspect flat rolled stock prior to shipment for quality and compliance with customer specifications. Properly package flat rolled materials for transport, ensuring appropriate protective wrapping and securing methods. Create and attach accurate shipping labels and documentation. Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-up and delivery of shipments.
