Following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) mandated that airline catering be inspected. Gate Safe, Inc. was formed in response to this mandate in October 2001. Today, over 500 Gate Safe employees perform a variety of service solutions for more than 70 airlines in 37 airports across the USA. Our employees are our greatest strength. Gate Safe's professionalism and performance record is among the best in the industry. In addition, our management team brings over 150 years of combined experience in Safety, Airline Ground Operations, Flight Operations, In-Flight Services, International Security, Human Resources, Training, Catering and FAA/TSA Regulatory Affairs to our service mission. Led by Kevin Didion, Gate Safe is committed to excellence. Our people, all of whom have been through detailed background checks, utilize proven processes that have been observed by the TSA. Last year, Gate Safe units across the country went through over 250 inspections by our customers and government agencies as well as standard internal audits. Gate Safe passed every inspection. Gate Safe's people represent a committed focus to ensure the safety of the American traveling public.
