History

Spinneybeck first introduced full-grain, aniline-dyed Italian leathers to North America in 1962. What began as a small upholstery leather supply company working out of a schoolhouse has evolved into a manufacturer of innovative architectural products featuring a range of natural materials. For more than six decades, Spinneybeck has consistently held the same high standards for quality, innovative products, environmental practices, and customer service.
 

Sustainability

Spinneybeck products all get their start in nature – leather, cork, wood - and are each naturally produced materials that are biodegradable and renewable. We pair these natural materials with substrates made of recycled materials that can be recycled once again. Our headquarters in New York doubles as a product fabrication facility and is zero-waste and landfill-free. 
 

Materials

The Spinneybeck product line includes a full range of natural materials, including leather, wood, and natural cork. Our leather is the finest full grain available; our cork is salvaged from wine cork production; and our wood collections take the material to new heights with their curvilinear forms and unexpected spatial applications.
