Our mission is to democratize air support to empower and protect those who serve.
Performance Heritage
Our founders began building small, high-performance racing drones more than a decade ago. These custom-built, proprietary drones caught the attention of the defense community, which saw potential military applications in the technology. In 2018, Performance Drone Works (PDW) was formed to address the growing demand for American-made, high-performance quadcopters tailored to the warfighter.
Building on a legacy of speed and agility, PDW integrates advanced ISR and autonomous capabilities and develops vehicles, payloads, radios, and AI software to offer unmatched UAS solutions for U.S. military and public safety agencies.

With years of experience designing rugged, industrialized drones at the Drone Racing League and expertise in building military-grade unmanned aerial vehicles, PDW is firmly committed to delivering revolutionary small robotics to enhance mission success and save lives.

Originating from a group of tenured sUAS (small Unmanned Aircraft Systems) engineers, PDW has been deploying industrialized robotic technologies for the greater part of a decade.
