The Lead Boiler Operator is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and safety of boiler systems and related equipment. This role involves leading a team of operators, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Your day to day: Responsibilities CUP Leader will be accountable to the same responsibilities of a CUP operator Ensures all Corrigo data (Asset's data, Work orders, P&S) is up to date Review and analyzing system data and developing initial recommendation with Operations Manager on any maintenance changes, upgrades, replacements, etc. Lead the CUP operators team:Schedule operators shifts through the year covering season changes, PTO, DB, etc Planning and scheduling of the team Establish and maintain a culture where safety in CUP operations is a priority, and any safety hazards are reported and aggressively corrected Assure the logs and data collection for the CUP are maintain and communicated Provide the utility consumption data according with the SOP Maintain up to date & complete system documentation for all repairs or changes to the system Responsible for preventive maintenance on all base building and critical system equipment. This should be executed by planning this work with the CUP team. This includes but not limited to: assembling all tools, supplies and instruments necessary to complete the job, performing work with a minimum amount disruption, conducting immediate cleanup of work area, completing the preventive maintenance, reporting any equipment problems, impending supply or material shortages to the Operations Manager. Responsible for the spare part inventory management for the CUP. Identify the critical spare parts, assure the minimum quantities in stock, and communicate procurement needs Maintain constant communication with the Operations Manager regarding but not limited toIncidents Equipment issues / changes Operational changes Sound like you? To apply you need:Education - High school diploma or state equivalent required, minimum of two years of related trade schooling or two years of college or equivalent. Minimum 3 years field experience with a Boiler Operators License Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Good general computer skills with knowledge in E-mail, Internet, Microsoft office. Must be a self-motivated individual who can work independently and in a team environment. Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes. For internal candidates, must consistently receive a "meets expectations" job performance review. Visually inspect machinery and buildings. Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for repairs, inspections and emergency procedures. Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet and lift 60 lbs repeatedly. Ability to detect emergency alarms - auditory and/or visual. Equipment inspections require getting on hands and knees to reach areas difficult to access.
