Western Union is seeking a Pricing Manager for the Southwest Retail business to lead strategic and tactical pricing initiatives that drive revenue growth, optimize margins, and improve customer value. You will be responsible for setting, managing, and analyzing pricing strategies across North America for the Southwest region of our money transfer business, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management skills.

Role Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute pricing strategies for the Southwest Region of North America retail corridors, including outbound and inbound flows.
  • Analyze competitive pricing, customer behavior, and transaction trends to identify growth opportunities and margin optimization levers.
  • Own pricing execution across our agent network, ensuring alignment with field sales, compliance, and operational constraints.
  • Lead pricing experiments, A/B testing, and promotions in collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Support business case development for new pricing models and product launches.
  • Regularly assess FX margin performance, agent fee structures, and incentive programs to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and prepare performance reports for senior leadership.
  • Partner with Finance to forecast pricing impacts on volume, revenue, and profit.


Required Qualifications



  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, financial analysis, or a related field; experience in financial services, payments, or consumer products is preferred.
  • Proven track record of using data and analytics to drive decision-making.
  • Experience with SQL, Excel, Tableau, or other analytics tools; comfort navigating large datasets.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
  • Experience with money transfer industry.

  • Deep understanding of the consumer financial landscape, including remittance, banking, or retail.
  • Experience managing multi-currency and FX margin-based pricing models.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration mindset; experience working with sales teams and external partners.

Salary

The salary range is $100,000 - $140,000 per year. This role is also eligible to receive a short-term incentive bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
