Pinyon is a company of opportunity About this Position Pinyon is seeking an experienced Air Quality Specialist that can support several markets and projects that deal with air quality permitting and compliance for a variety of clients in the oil and gas, commercial/industrial, transportation, and local/federal government market sectors. The candidate will also have the opportunity to assist with noise analyses for similar clients. Responsibilities Client management for air quality projects, including client interaction, and responsibility for oversight of high-quality deliverables Developing strategy and quality review of air permit applications for federal and state agencies, including emissions inventories State and federal regulatory review, and application of those regulations to specific client situations Compliance recordkeeping and reporting based on permit conditions Greenhouse gas and state inventory reporting Assistance with mentoring entry-level air quality Potential to assist with noise analyses including transportation impacts analyses Support air quality proposal development and client marketing efforts as needed Transportation conformity analyses, including conducting evaluations per DOT and FHWA protocols Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) 6-10 years in Air Quality-related professional services; candidates with more or less relevant experience are encouraged to apply Proficient in Microsoft Office programs Preferred experience with emissions and impacts models such as ProMax, AERMOD, and MOVES Experience and knowledge with federal or state regulations review Self-driven with the ability to oversee and complete multiple projects simultaneously, requiring minimal supervision Critical thinker and problem solver that can work in a dynamic group environment Exceptional communication skills, particularly with technical writing Beneficial but not required experience with noise analyses, TNM modeling, and noise monitoring Employment is contingent upon the results of a background check Application Process To submit your resume and cover letter visit our careers page at https://pinyon-env.net/careers/, select your desired position, click 'Apply Now' on the right, and complete the submission form.
