The role of Financial Systems Administrator bridges the gap between operational processes and technology systems. It involves analyzing business needs, supporting financial systems, and ensuring the efficient functionality of these tools to meet organizational goals. The individual in this role is expected to combine their expertise in financial systems with analytical skills to improve processes, manage system integrations, and provide critical insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities
    Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand and document business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate current business processes and workflows across platforms to optimize operations, minimize manual intervention, and strengthen compliance.
  • Data Analysis: Interpret complex data sets to generate actionable insights, create detailed reports, and present findings to management.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project clarity and alignment.
  • System Maintenance: Manage the day-to-day operations of financial systems, ensuring optimal functionality and resolving any technical issues promptly.
  • System Configuration: Configure and customize financial systems to meet specific organizational requirements.
  • Upgrade Management: Coordinate with teams for scheduled system upgrades to ensure business continuity while implementing enhancements.
  • Training and Support: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert & provide training to end-users and technical support for system-related queries and issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Collaborate with all relevant parties to perform a thorough root cause analysis and propose actionable improvements to prevent future issues.
  • System Upgrades: Lead support for the business with scheduled upgrade testing and documentation.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Advanced certifications in business analysis or financial systems are a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in financial software such as ERP systems and analytical tools (Experience with Epicor, Concur & PowerApps a plus)
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong aptitude for troubleshooting system issues and proposing effective solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adhere to deadlines.
Experience:
  • 5 plus years System Administration/Configuration or similar experience
  • 5 plus years data analysis and troubleshooting experience

Skills:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to learn quickly, follow direction and execute tasks independently.
  • Ability to plan and execute all phases of a project.

What's in it for you?

The expected hiring compensation range for this position is $107,800 - $148,200 annually. This is a remote opportunity operating on EST.

The total compensation package for this position may include other elements, such as a sign-on bonus, long term incentives, and annual bonuses. This role is eligible to participate in the Legal & General America Annual Incentive Plan. The current target payment for the position is 20% of base salary, modified for corporate and individual performance. Bonuses are pro-rated based on start date. This role has 20 vacation days and 10 sick days that are accrued on a bi-weekly basis. Employees also have 9 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
