As a Financial Analyst at Crescent Electric Supply, you will provide financial planning and analysis support to guide strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with leadership across Crescent's various operating companies and functions to drive value-added analysis and improved decision-making throughout the corporation. Primary Duties:
Serve as subject matter expert for financial consolidation software. Responsibilities will include report creation, collaboration with business partners and external vendors, and administrative duties. Own Capital Expenditure process, which will include financial analysis and approval of Capex Requests, monthly reporting, and budgeting/forecasting of Capex and related depreciation. Support all financial planning processes, including those related to strategic planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting. Provide analytical insights to support the design of strategic initiatives focused on achieving long-term financial objectives. Track and analyze results to ensure progress towards targets and provide analytical insights to business management to accelerate the achievement of strategic and financial goals. Develop and maintain standardized performance reporting and dashboards across all levels of the corporation (operating companies, regions, districts, branches, etc.). Develop monthly and quarterly business reviews for senior management. Provide insightful and actionable analysis of results/plans/forecasts to identify emerging trends, key risks, and opportunities to improve profitability, cash flow generation, and return on invested capital. Support special reports for CFO as needed. Examples: personnel productivity benchmarking, rebate analysis and optimization, and supply chain analysis on purchasing and inventory management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; MBA in Finance preferred. 3+ years of progressive experience in finance with a strong emphasis on planning and analysis. Larger company and/or distribution experience preferred. Demonstrated deep experience in data analysis/mining/modeling, corporate finance principles (NPVs, EVA/economic profit, capital structure), budget/forecast variance analysis, and industry or competitive research. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and perform within tight deadlines. Highly proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, and various financial support systems and managing data from multiple sources.
Physical Demands:
Travel and overnight travel expected. Often standing, walking, sitting, use of hands/arms to finger/handle/reach needed. Occasionally climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling needed. Most of the time talking/hearing needed. Occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds. Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) for computer work needed.
