What this job involves:

As a Project Manager specializing in healthcare facility activation and relocation at JLL, you will join our dynamic markets team providing critical services to healthcare clients. This role focuses on planning and executing facility activations and relocations while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and cost transparency. You'll work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple projects simultaneously while providing innovative solutions to complex healthcare facility challenges. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating small and large facility activation projects from planning through close-out.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Develop comprehensive move plans including space assignments, occupancy plans, cleaning requirements, and IT/construction needs
  • Assist with development of move schedules coordinating construction milestones, furniture installation, and personnel/patient relocations
  • Perform site audits to verify staff locations, furniture layout, equipment placement, and room configurations against floor plans
  • Assist with documentation and relocation of medical equipment and supplies
  • Develop RFQ/RFPs, scope development, and manage vendor selection processes and contracts
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and management teams to determine installation requirements
  • Manage client approval processes including scope development, concept plans, and cost estimates
  • Provide on-site supervision during facility activations and equipment installation
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in healthcare facilities planning, facility activation/move management, and project management
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and manage differing business needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional stakeholder interaction
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Understanding of move requirements, reconfiguration processes, and facility activation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat
  • Basic skills with Microsoft Project
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with furniture inventory management in healthcare settings
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and safety standards
  • Experience working with medical equipment vendors and installation processes
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours to accommodate client needs
  • Experience with project cost tracking and budget management
