The Manager of Professional Development and Training is responsible for efficient and effective training of manufacturing skills for the assigned business unit. In this role you will work closely with operations, the quality leads, auditing, root cause analysis and corrective actions and the skills trainers in the assigned business unit to deliver ongoing learning needs analysis, design, development, assessment, implementation and evaluation of training to ensure alignment with business strategy across the organization. - Lead and guide DAA's manufacturing skills and performance training groups under the quality umbrella.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics across all DAA's Business Units and support the Training Managers as they apply the ADDIE model of instructional design to improve performance.
- Support the development and implementation of training programs based on performance analysis.
- Support TWI SOJT programs.
- Support Trainer Development at all levels and in all skills, including DIL Trainer Qualifications.
- Monitor training metrics and feedback loops to evaluate, and measure and share the effectiveness of training programs, fully understand the results of training programs, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on the vision of training each fiscal year and for our Fusion goals. Implement training agendas in line with company missions, goals, and values, and in the context of PCM.
- Be accountable for projects being delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
- Continually improve their own skills and capabilities.
- Travel within DAA, across the Daikin Americas Region, and internationally is moderate.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-year Bachelor's degree in Education. Learning, Instructional Design or Engineering
- 5 years of people leading experience in manufacturing
- 5 years of experaince in a training manager role
- Must complete Training within Industry Job Instruction (TWI-JI) within 6 months of hire
- Possess Instructional Design Certification or complete within 1 year of hire
- Possess or complete Training Management Certification or complete within 1 year of hire

Pay Transparency: The typical salary for this position ranges from $100,800-166,700 + 10% bonus potential in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
