Pay From: $60,000 per year


MUST:

Experienced Aircraft Design Engineer

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

10+ years of experience

The successful candidate will act as a technical focal for all aspects of aircraft Electrical Wiring and Interconnection Systems (EWIS) design and development

Significant experience with 3D harness routing and installation design CAD tools (e.g. CATIA, SolidWorks, NX)

Significant experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools (e.g. 3DExperience, Enovia SmarTeam, Teamcenter)

Familiar with Model Based Design (MBD) principles

DUTIES:

In this role, you will be using your skills and expertise to develop highly complex designs.

These cover a very wide range, from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems.

Create and review layouts, drawings, and models for clarity, completeness, and accuracy.

Identify design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies, and recommend revisions and/or improvements in designs.

Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps.

Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity.

Rarely lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs.

Rarely exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials.

Rarely exposed to loud noises
