Chester, Virginia Pay From: $ 20 per hour MUST: Experienced Medical Biller 1 plus years of professional experience 3 years of experience (specific experience) MUST have payment posting MUST have experience in an office setting Accurate data entry skills EMR experience preferred DUTIES: * Prepare, review, and submit insurance claims for pediatric services using appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes * Accurately bill for vaccines and administration, including use of modifiers and counseling time as applicable * Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient visits, with a focus on Medicaid and managed care plans * Follow up on unpaid or denied claims; correct errors and file appeals when necessary * Generate and send patient statements; assist parents/guardians with billing questions and account balances * Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and protect sensitive pediatric health information * Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collections * Collaborate with providers, nurses, and front office staff to ensure billing accuracy and efficiency Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
