Warranty Closeout Consultant (PM) - JLL What this job involves:

As a Warranty Closeout Consultant, you will manage complex warranty claims and projects for our client while working cross-functionally with client New Store, Reinvestment, Warranty Consultants, and General Contractors. Your key focus will be identifying defect root causes, developing solutions with Design & Engineers, managing stakeholder communication, and resolving warranty claims promptly. Success requires strong client relationships, attention to detail, proactive communication, and multi-tasking abilities while managing warranty project closeouts, ensuring timely resolution and documentation. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners on defect resolution while conducting on-site and virtual meetings to address warranty issues based on the number and complexity of warranty issues.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Manage warranty project closeouts, ensuring timely resolution and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on defect resolution
  • Conduct on-site and virtual meetings to address warranty issues pending number & complexity of warranty issues
  • Analyze warranty claim root causes, identifying trends and systemic issues
  • Facilitate communication between regional teams, vendors, and project managers
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to drive successful outcomes
  • Act as primary contact for complex warranty escalations
  • Ensure compliance with client standards, policies, and warranty terms
  • Monitor warranty claim metrics, partnering with Warranty Consultants for improvements
  • Work cross-functionally with client New Store, Reinvestment, Warranty Consultants, and General Contractors
  • Develop solutions with Design & Engineers for identified defects
  • Manage stakeholder communication throughout warranty resolution process
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in warranty management, construction management, facilities management, or related field
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills, root cause analysis experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with project management tools and software
  • Independent worker with effective time management skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
  • Willing to travel 50% of the time
  • Ability to conduct on-site and virtual meetings effectively
  • Experience with warranty claim analysis and trend identification
  • Strong relationship building skills with stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Business, Project Management, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience managing complex warranty escalations
  • Understanding of client standards, policies, and warranty terms
  • Experience with warranty metrics monitoring and improvement processes
  • Knowledge of construction defect resolution processes
  • Experience facilitating communication between regional teams, vendors, and project managers
  • Understanding of New Store and Reinvestment project processes
  • Experience working with Design & Engineering teams on solution development
Location:

Dallas, TX and Chicago, IL

Work Shift:

50% travel required

Estimated compensation for this position:

1.00 - 1.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
