The Onboarding Specialist's primary responsibilities will be to support in-house Recruiters and navigate connections between candidates, new employees, and their colleagues, promoting candidate engagement, collaboration and a sense of belonging within our company. The incumbent will establish and maintain positive relationships with Renown leadership and contacts in the community as they will be working with high level candidates and providers to facilitate community tours with real-estate partners and travel agencies. As candidates transition into the onboarding stage, the incumbent will act as the liaison between the recruiter, new employee and hiring manager to navigate the new employee through complex pre-employment requirements and strict deadlines. As an Onboarding Specialist, the incumbent has direct contact with employees and management of all levels throughout Renown Health and will need to demonstrate proficiency in analytical thinking, problem-solving, writing and communicating to a variety of audiences, and excellent organizational skills. Exceptional communication skills will be vital in effectively communicating our company's culture, policies, and procedures to recruits. The incumbent must maintain and exhibit high standards of professional communication, courtesy, performance, and human relations skills at all times and practice good judgment when making decision on start date compliance. The Onboarding Specialist will contribute to our company's growth and success by creating a welcoming and inclusive onboarding program. Duties include, but are not limited to: * Develops and maintains working knowledge of the Renown Health system and regional communities to assist with candidate inquiries. * Provide regular updates to recruiters and hiring manager on start to work timeline and estimated pre-employment compliance completion to facilitate a successful transition for new employees, ensuring a smooth onboarding process. * Development and continuous improvement of the onboarding process will be required, and the incumbent will provide recommendations on that align with the company's values and culture in order to support the strategic retention initiatives set by the organization and provide a better new hire experience. * As projects are assigned in relation to the improvement of the onboarding experience the incumbent will act as the point of contact, meeting deadlines and implementing the approved programs. * Acts as single point of contact for all departments involved in the onboarding of new employees, addressing their questions and concerns relating to the onboarding process. * Collaborating with HR, the hiring managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition for new employees. * Ensuring completion on all new hire paperwork, background checks, licensure, and drug screens legal and administrative compliance when onboarding candidate and providing interdisciplinary updates regarding successful completion. * Works with in-house Recruiters to facilitate the planning, scheduling, and execution of on-site visit for leadership, provider candidates, and their spouse/significant other. These duties include, but are not limited to, acting as liaison between candidate, recruiter, and operations to establish site visit dates, making travel arrangements, lodging, meals, community tours and other needed arrangements, development, and management of itineraries for physician and spouse . * Continually improves on processes, procedures, policies, and techniques to recruit highly skilled candidates. * Maintains a working knowledge of pertinent federal and state laws and guidelines. * Participates in other duties and responsibilities as assigned in order to recruit and retain physicians.
