Daikin Applied is seeking a versatile and adaptable Environmental Intern to join our team. The intern will play a key role in supporting various initiatives related to environmental compliance and sustainability, involving collaboration with internal stakeholders and the implementation of specific systems and programs.

Location: Plymouth, MN

What you will do:

• Assist in efforts related to our environmental and sustainability initiatives, aligning with the team's overarching goals.

• Provide support for the deployment of environmental programs.

• Engage in environmental assessments and contribute to data entry tasks.

• Foster collaboration with diverse Daikin businesses, ensuring a harmonious transition and alignment with environment health and safety objectives.

• Participate in the reevaluation of data to maintain its quality and accuracy during ongoing processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in BS in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related fields.

• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the summer

• Individuals must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

• Reside within 300 miles of the Plymouth, MN office

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $21/hr - $24/hr. Thisrepresentsthe pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
