What this job involves:

This position serves as the central point of contact for workplace operations and colleague experience, ensuring optimal functionality of office spaces while providing exceptional service to all occupants. The role combines facility management, colleague engagement, and administrative support to create a seamless, productive workplace environment that meets service level agreements and regulatory compliance standards.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

* Conduct daily site walks to assess office, floor, and facility conditions, ensuring meeting rooms and collaboration spaces remain in ready-to-use condition

* Manage colleague inquiries and work requests tactfully, triaging issues to appropriate parties within established timeframes

* Serve as the primary office host, greeting colleagues by name when possible and maintaining visible engagement throughout the workspace

* Coordinate conference room bookings, food deliveries, facility requests, and room setups to support business operations

* Collaborate with facilities management, engineering, project management teams, and external vendors to maintain workspace functionality

* Provide site tours for new hires and assist with colleague engagement initiatives and events as directed by clients

* Respond to all colleague requests (verbal and email) within one business day, including personal follow-up to ensure resolution

* Monitor and maintain office equipment including kitchenette and pantry facilities in good working condition

* Administer workplace policies such as clean desk protocols and appropriate space usage guidelines

Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements

* Previous experience in facilities management, office administration, or workplace services

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build trusted advisor relationships

* Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage urgent requests effectively

* Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and compliance requirements

* Proficiency in administrative software and room booking systems

* Professional demeanor with customer service orientation

Preferred:

* Experience in corporate workplace management or hospitality services

* Familiarity with service level agreement (SLA) management and reporting

* Project management or vendor coordination experience

* Background in colleague engagement or event coordination activities
