Make it happen at Hopkins The Johns Hopkins Hospital - The Blalock-Taussig-Thomas Pediatric and Congenital Heart Center The ideal candidate for this role should have clinical experience in Pediatric Cardiology, preferably in Pediatric or Adult EP. They must possess excellent communication and organizational skills to convey complex medical information to patients and families. An eagerness to acquire new technical skills is essential, including working with pacemaker and ICD remote monitoring programs, scheduling complex cardiac procedures, and learning to download and check pacemakers and ICDs in both pediatric and adult congenital cases. Attention to detail is crucial for patient safety, so the ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and highly organized to maintain follow-up and to-do lists for physicians. This position also involves a significant teaching component, which includes providing pre- and post-procedure instructions and educating families on proper pacemaker and ICD care after implantation. You will collaborate closely with an experienced senior Peds EP nurse and two pediatric electrophysiologists in the clinic and occasionally on the wards. Learn more about our benefits here. https://jhh.mybenefitsjhhs.com/ Position Details: Shifts: Day Shift/40 Hours Per Week Qualifications: BSN/MSN required Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted RN work experience required, pediatric experience required, prior pediatric cardiology experience preferred **Must have authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship applicants will not be considered). Salary Range: Minimum 42.34/hour - Maximum 65.62/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
