Towson, Maryland Pay From: $ 24 per hour MUST: Experienced Medical Receptionist 3 plus years of professional experience 1 year medical receptionist experience Must have good customer service skills Must know medical terminology Must be tech savvy Must be reliable Experience in an OBGYN experience preferred but not required DUTIES: Greet patients, check them in/out, and verify insurance and demographic information. Schedule and confirm OB/GYN appointments, including ultrasounds and prenatal visits. Answer and route phone calls, return messages, and provide basic patient instructions. Collect co-pays and payments, verify maternity benefits, and assist with billing inquiries. Prepare, scan, and upload documents into the EHR; manage fax and record requests per HIPAA. Coordinate referrals and communicate with labs, imaging centers, and hospitals for patient care.
