Job Summary: The Echocardiography Technologist:

Performs 2D, M-mode, colorflow, pulsed, and continuous wave Doppler on adult patients throughout the hospital. Assists the physician with Tranesophageal, contrast, doubtamine, and stress echocardiophy. Cross trains personnel from department into echocardiography.

Minimum Education and Experience:



  1. Successful completion of a recognized AMA or AMA equivalent allied health program for diagnostic medical cardiac sonography, or an Associates Degree of equivalent college hours in the health sciences, nursing, radiologic technology or respiratory therapy, or equivalent of five years of work experience.
  2. Must be a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer credentialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, or a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentials International.
  3. Current CPR Certification required.


Shift: Full-Time (40 hours per week). Day Shift, On-call required. No weekend work.

Salary Range: Minimum 42.66/hour - Maximum 70.36/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
