POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager plans, schedules and manages assigned projects to achieve organizational objectives within defined timeframe, scope and budget. Responsible for project work plan development, establishment of project communication and risk management plans, workflow process redesign, metric development and measurement, and return on investment analysis. Works closely with the institutes, departments, clinical and non-clinical departments on organizational projects. Assists in the planning and operational readiness ofprojects to ensure the desired outcome is achieved. The Project Manager assigns project tasks to designated team members. Identifies and escalate issues as appropriate. Uses project management tools and standards as outlined by the Project Management Institute to ensure projects stay on track to complete deliverables and project integration with other JHACH initiatives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:



  1. Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget





  1. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility





  1. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress; measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques





  1. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques





  1. Apply appropriate tools and techniques based on project (Lean, Six Sigma, CUSP, etc.)





  1. Report and escalate issues to management; perform risk management to minimize project risks; create and maintain comprehensive project documentation





  1. Develop communication plan (oral and written) for each initiative with assigned teams to include updates and status reports associated with each project





  1. Train and coach staff on change management, Lean, Six Sigma, and project management tools and techniques





  1. Responsible for the coordination of activities and ensures continual compliance with regulatory standards (i.e. TJC, CMS, AHCA, etc.)



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's Degree in related field





  • 5 years of related and progressive experience.





  • 3 years of project management experience





  • PMP certification or Agile PM certification required and/or to be obtained within one year





  • Demonstrates strong project/program management skills, leadership attributes - strategic thinking, ability to drive business change, sharing of organizational goals, leading multidisciplinary groups





  • Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills





  • Effective communication and presentation skills





  • Knowledge of project management, process redesign techniques and skills, audit techniques, financial analysis, problem solving, change management and customer service skills





  • Working knowledge of Visio, MS project, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, and other programs as appropriate



Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
