Medical Assistant Mechanicsville, Virginia Pay From $18.50 per hour MUST: Experienced Medical Assistant 4 plus years of experience as a Medical Assistant Must have experience working in a specialty medical practice Must have an active BLS Must have experience work on EMR Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Must have experience rooming patients and taking vitals DUTIES: Medical Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Triage patients and assist with clinical care Prepare, file, and retrieve medical records Room patients and obtain vital signs Provide clinical support to providers Greet patients and visitors in person or by telephone; answer or appropriately refer inquiries Schedule appointments in person or over the phone to optimize patient satisfaction, provider time, and exam room utilization Maintain appointment flow by notifying providers of patient arrivals, monitoring schedules, and communicating delays Comfort patients by anticipating concerns, answering questions, and maintaining a welcoming reception area Maintain accurate patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information Perform data entry and processing Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
