Registered Nurse PACU or ICU Bethesda MD Pay From: $44 Per Hour MUST: The PACU-Pre Op Registered Nurse should have the following: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland Flexible to work Monday thru Friday between the hours of 5:30am to 6pm 40 hour per week role Ambulatory experience 2 years of ICU or PACU experience Monitoring patients Post Op Comfortable starting and administering IV's Experience updating patients charts using EMR Strong attention to detail and proactive Providing patient education Assessing patients Discussing pre -op instructions, procedures and medical histories BLS, PALS and ACLS Certified DUTIES: The PACU Pre-Op Registered Nurse's duties include but are not limited to the following: Initiate and administer IV's Monitor patients Post Op Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments Provide patient education on surgical procedures Record patients' medical information and vital signs. Provide pre- and post-surgery care to patients Assist providers as needed Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patients Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
