MUST :


Experienced Systems Administrator

6+ years of technical experience providing Systems administration, escalated troubleshooting and end user support

2+ years of experience supporting / troubleshooting basic network issues and dealing with connectivity issues within various client environments

Strong, hands-on, well rounded understanding one of the following areas : VMWare systems, Azure Cloud environments, or Windows enterprise systems

Device firmware and OS patching/upgrades as required

In-Depth knowledge of Microsoft products including Windows Server, Azure, Cloud Computing, desktop operating systems, and hardware with an understanding of the environment set up and ability to trouble shoot said environment

Basic troubleshooting for server network issues not limited to Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, Dell, Palo Alto, Ubiquiti, and SonicWall hardware (routing, switching) is a plus

Experience with the management of Citrix Environments including XenApp, XenDesktop and Netscaler products is desired

Familiarity with various storage appliances and technologies used in enterprise installations (iSCSI, RAID, SAN, NAS)

Virtualization design, implementation, and support (VMware, Hyper-V, Xen)

Expertise in Office 365/Azure administration and migrations

Knowledge of SaaS based products, and management of customer licenses

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Strong attention to detail and highly analytical

Strong documentation skills

Currently hold or be willing and able to obtain the following certifications and willing to get the others in a timely manner : Network+, Security+, CCNA, or MCSE

DUTIES :

We are looking for candidates with a desire to grow their knowledge and understanding of a variety of tools and systems

Candidates must possess fundamental understanding of systems and how they work together and be able to provide basic troubleshooting

Ability to work through issues in clients systems/environments. Issue can be ranging from basic access problems, to network issues, on prem or cloud environment trouble shooting or other systems administration needs

Help resolve complex technical issues directly with customers submitted by phone, email, and onsite

Act as the primary escalation point from tier 1 and tier 2 support technicians

Provide backup for and coaching/ training as needed to the tier 1 and tier 2 support teams

Provide high level customer service to clients when needed

Maintain and update documentation along with creation of technical procedures

Able to be assigned projects, and adhere to schedules for on time completion
