Registered Nurse Bethesda MD Pay From $46 Per Hour MUST: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland 2+year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or ambulatory setting Experience handling pre admissions of patients prior to surgical procedures Experience within the orthopedic field Experience calling patients and reviewing there medical histories and concerns Managing surgical patients Knowledge of orthopedic procedures including total joint replacement Identifying interventions Evaluating patient progress Collecting data and working on care plans Knowledge and experience with aseptic technique and implementation of Performance improvement Strong documentation skills DUTIES: The duties of the Pre Admission Nurse include but are not limited to the following: Handle the management of surgery patients Call patients prior to procedures Review detailed medical histories with patients Evaluate labs and medical documents Educate patients on upcoming procedures Collect patient data Assist with care plans Document and update patient information and interactions in EMR Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
