Greenbelt, MD Pay From: $85,000 Per Year MUST: 2-3 years' experience as a physical therapist in outpatient setting Excellent knowledge of PT skills with best practices and standards. Intensive education and clinical expertise Excellent manual physical therapy expertise. Drive to continually learn and grow Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training and physical modalities. Ability to communicate and instruct effectively. Health care administration and documentation skills. Valid License to practice physical therapy in USA required. Bachelors, Master's or Doctorate degree in PT DUTIES: Uses therapeutic procedures, exercise, or equipment to restore movement, strength, or flexibility. Coordinate's care and oversees the work of physical therapy assistants, rehab aides and other allied health professionals. Periodically re-evaluates patient status and modifies care plan in response. Educates patients and families about expectations throughout the recovery process. Document patient care services Maintain compliance with Medicare and other quality initiatives. Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
