Video Management Systems (VMS) Engineer Alexandria, VA (on site) Pay From: $90,000 per year MUST: Experienced Video Management Engineer (VMS) Active Secret Clearance Required 5+ or more of work-related experience in computer and network systems administration and support 5+ years of experience in video surveillance systems, security cameras and IP based video surveillance technology, both software and hardware. Current experience in design and deployment and/or five years' experience in video surveillance systems, security cameras and IP based video surveillance technology, both software and hardware. Possess solid knowledge of IP addressing and troubleshooting, and with IP protocols and NAT router configurations; firewall rules and VLAN's. Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Routers, Switches, VPN's, etc.) Hands on physical security electronic surveillance experience Excellent troubleshooting skills, able to diagnose, reproduce and analyze issues to solve problems effectively and efficiently, by logical deduction and thorough process of elimination. IT proficiency and a technical background or experience in network configuration, administration, engineering, support Excellent troubleshooting skills, able to diagnose, reproduce and analyze issues to solve problems effectively and efficiently, by logical deduction and thorough process of elimination. Organized self-starters who work well in a dynamic team are ideal for this opportunity. Strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience DUTIES: Provide top-notch support to our federal government customers Providing excellent troubleshooting skills, able to diagnose, reproduce and analyze issues to solve problems effectively and efficiently, by logical deduction and thorough process of elimination Providing day-to-day oversight of engineers providing tier 2 support Participate and develop training materials to assist in additional communication of troubleshooting steps for resolution of production issues Troubleshooting and configuring industry standard network equipment and camera equipment Participate in relevant meetings, briefings, discussions, and working group sessions.
