The Role

The Insights Specialist will lead our data-driven transformation efforts for multiple local accounts. This strategic role will leverage JLL's global data assets to drive performance improvements, enhance client satisfaction, and generate actionable insights for both JLL and our account teams and clients. The Insights Specialist will be a master data storyteller, translating complex analytics into compelling narratives influencing decision-making at the highest levels.

As a data strategy visionary, the Insights Specialist will be instrumental in leveraging data as a transformative asset to drive organisational change and improve performance across the account. They will work closely with JLL account teams to align data strategies with broader business objectives, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions that push the boundaries of operational excellence.

The Insights Specialist will act as a critical bridge between account stakeholders and our offshore technical delivery team (CoE). They will translate complex business challenges into actionable data solutions, collaborate with offshore development teams, and drive successful product launches that deliver meaningful business impact.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies that drive tangible business outcomes. They will be an expert in JLL's core BI tools, particularly JLL Azara and Azara AI, while also possessing the expertise to partner with our technical development team, understanding Tableau, Databricks and Python and leaning into agile prototyping when necessary.

Day to day

  • Leverage JLL Azara and Azara AI to generate strategic insights, using advanced data interrogation techniques to uncover hidden patterns and opportunities for performance improvement.

  • Provide expert guidance and training on effective prompt engineering for JLL GPT and Azara AI, empowering team members to leverage these tools effectively.

  • Inspire the transition to dynamic, real-time data ecosystems, cultivating a data-driven culture across the account and the broader organisation.

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive analytics and scenario models to inform strategic decision-making for both JLL account teams and clients.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand and translate complex business needs into clear, technical specifications and design innovative, data-driven solutions.

  • Lead the development of custom content and conduct agile prototyping for time-sensitive queries when existing tools are insufficient. Ensure proposed solutions align with organisational data strategy and governance standards.

  • Act as the primary liaison between the account and CoE teams, ensuring seamless integration of global technical expertise with local strategic needs.

  • Develop project roadmaps and delivery timelines in collaboration with stakeholders, managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Develop and present compelling data narratives that drive change and inform strategic decision-making at the highest levels of both organisations.

  • Monitor solution performance and user engagement post-launch.

  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align data strategies with JLL's global objectives and client specific business goals.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, capable of presenting complex insights to C-level executives in a compelling and accessible manner.

  • Advanced change management expertise, with a track record of using data-driven insights to influence organisational decision-making and drive performance improvements.

  • Understanding client needs, with the ability to anticipate future trends and position our accounts for success.

  • Expertise in agile development and rapid prototyping for time-sensitive data queries and analysis.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with geographically dispersed teams, fostering a collaborative, global mindset.

  • Advanced skills in prompt engineering for AI tools, with the ability to craft effective prompts and guide others in leveraging these technologies.

Skills and Experience

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field

  • Extensive experience in a senior BI, data strategy, or similar role, preferably in the real estate sector.

  • Expert proficiency in BI and AI, with the ability to leverage these tools for strategic insight generation and train others in their use

  • Advanced skills in data visualisation and dashboard creation, with experience in tools such as Tableau or Power BI

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with modern data warehousing technologies

  • Proven track record of developing custom BI solutions and conducting rapid prototyping for urgent business needs

  • Demonstrated ability to use data to drive significant performance improvements and enhance client satisfaction across complex accounts

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives through data-driven narratives

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working in complex, multinational corporate environments

  • Proven ability to work autonomously, define both strategic and technical requirements, and deliver sustainable, data-driven solutions that align with global objectives

  • Extensive experience in change management and using data to influence organisational decision-making at the highest levels

  • Knowledge of the commercial real estate sector and its specific data and analytics needs, with the ability to anticipate and address future challenges

  • Advanced skills in prompt engineering for AI tools, including JLL GPT and Azara AI, with the ability to train and guide others in their effective use

  • Experience in leading and presenting high-stakes client reviews, including monthly management presentations and quarterly business reviews

Estimated compensation for this position:

94,820.00 - 137,500.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
