What this job involves:

Drive exceptional relocation outcomes as a Relocation Project Coordinator with JLL, where you'll be responsible for comprehensive move process management, customer satisfaction excellence, clear move communication, and transparent cost reconciliation across all move-related activities. You'll coordinate and execute small and large office moves and changes while managing new hire onboarding processes and serving as the critical liaison between teams and move vendors to ensure seamless workplace transitions. This role positions you at the center of workplace mobility operations, where your expertise in logistics coordination, vendor management, and customer service will directly impact employee satisfaction and operational efficiency. Your leadership will contribute to JLL's relocation excellence while you guide administrators through complex move logistics, coordinate technical requirements, and deliver comprehensive post-move support that ensures successful workplace transitions and accurate assignment reporting.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Customer Experience Management:Manage new hire onboarding information by reaching out to admins and managers, meet with team leaders to guide them through logistics and move details, and update move matrices with customer information and technical requirements
  • Space Preparation & Coordination:Assess cubicle conditions ordering missing parts and ergonomic changes, receive and compile move lists screening for potential issues, review furniture layouts determining file and storage locations, and deliver boxes, labels, and move instructions
  • Move Execution & Management:Schedule movers and alert security providing names for badging, coordinate disconnects and reconnects of computers, servers, printers, and phones, operate check-outs and check-ins ensuring all clients reach designated locations
  • Vendor & Site Oversight:Remain on-site for all vendors and customers during moves, act as liaison between teams and move vendors communicating desk additions and last-minute seating updates, and review completed moves making necessary adjustments
  • Technical Coordination:Coordinate vendors for power and data installation as required, submit service tickets for space cleaning and desk setup, and determine mobile locations while preparing furniture for drop-in stations
  • Post-Move Support & Follow-Up:Provide welcome communications with new location information and site services, troubleshoot lost or misplaced items, schedule vendor scrap pickup and furniture recycling, and coordinate pickup of crates and boxes
  • Data Management & Reporting:Following projects and incremental moves, update seat assignments for accurate reporting while managing cost transparency and reconciliation for all move-related activities and handling special assignments as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • College preferred but not required with at least 3 years of experience in corporate environment demonstrating understanding of office operations and workplace coordination processes
  • Proficiency in range of information technology tools and platforms with ability to coordinate technical disconnects, reconnects, and installation requirements across diverse office environments
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent relocation projects while maintaining accuracy in logistics coordination and cost reconciliation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact effectively with administrators, managers, vendors, and employees across all organizational levels
  • Strong customer service orientation with ability to manage onboarding processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure positive relocation experiences for all stakeholders involved
  • Ability to coordinate complex logistics including vendor scheduling, security coordination, space preparation, and technical requirements while maintaining quality standards and timelines
  • Strong presentation capabilities for guiding administrators through relocation logistics, explaining processes clearly, and delivering comprehensive move instructions to diverse audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in office relocations, corporate moves, or facility management with understanding of relocation coordination best practices and vendor management principles
  • Experience with office technology systems, telecommunications coordination, or IT equipment management supporting technical aspects of workplace relocations and transitions
  • Background managing contractor relationships, coordinating multiple service providers, or overseeing complex logistics operations within corporate real estate or facility management contexts
  • Experience implementing operational improvements, developing standard operating procedures, or enhancing relocation management processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Familiarity with budget management, cost reconciliation, or financial tracking related to move activities with understanding of vendor invoicing and expense management
  • Advanced background in customer service, account management, or client-facing roles with proven track record building stakeholder relationships and delivering exceptional relocation experiences

Estimated compensation for this position:

59,600.00 - 89,400.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
