Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 6:30am-3:00pm. You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. You may be eligible for up to $15,000 sign on bonus.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Overtime

On-call pay

Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
Work Experience
  • Experience assisting in robotic-assisted cardiac and thoracic surgeries. Required
  • 1-2 years of experience in cardiovascular operating room or specialized cardiothoracic surgical environments. Preferred
  • Prior completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program with related experience or successful completion of Scrub RN competency (Internal Northern Illinois Program). Required
Licenses & Certifications
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois. Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Preferred
  • Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred
