The Administrative Assistant, Pathology serves as the liaison between the Director of Pathology and other offices and departments. Provides administrative support to the Pathology Department. Use Pathology software applications to send, retrieve, and track Pathology material for internal and external slides and blocks. Prepare pathology material for sending out and documenting materials and inquiries/requests. Perform registration and order entry functions. Use spreadsheets, word processing, and database software to develop and maintain records. Other tasks include providing support for the leadership team, formatting correspondence and documents, maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, answering telephones, preparing reports and presentation materials, processing reimbursement for travel and other professional expenses, and maintaining electronic files and records. Handles sensitive and confidential information for physicians, Director, and staff.

Rotating/Evenings (3pm - 10pm)
PT 30hours



Education:



  • High school graduate or equivalent required. Associates Degree preferred.
  • Three to five years administrative experience in a physician's office required. Experience in a Urology practice preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum 22.75/hour - Maximum 37.53/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
