Continuity/ Operations Analyst Alexandria VA Pay from $82,500/yr MUST : Experience Continuity Analyst 5+ years of relevant experience in operational or program reporting, planning, data analysis or other related fields Familiarity with Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning Familiarity with Disaster recovery scheduling Experience with risk analysis Writing Disaster Recovery plans Proficient in MS Office Suite - especially excel word and outlook Strong report writing Strong oral and written communication skills Bachelor's Degree or higher DUTIES : Develop, maintain, and continuously update Continuity of Operations (COOP) strategies, plans, and procedures to align with mission changes, operational requirements, and evolving threat environments Define and document how the organization responds to, sustains operations through, and recovers from disruptions while ensuring critical agency functions remain operational Identify organizational vulnerabilities, assess potential impacts, and design response and recovery strategies for a range of emergency scenarios Coordinate with the client to reconcile deployment rosters and personnel status, ensuring accurate accountability and reporting Design, execute, and evaluate COOP scenarios, tests, and exercises to validate plan effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities Engage and communicate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure coordination, collaboration, and organizational buy-in for COOP planning efforts Partner with IT and operational teams to plan for the relocation, restoration, and continuity of critical IT systems and infrastructure in support of COOP requirements Conduct office equipment readiness, inventories, end-user maintenance, and preparation to support COOP deployments Analyze the client's regional readiness and deployment capabilities, including personnel, equipment, and operational posture Review and assess situation reports, deployment rosters, and resource tracking data for accuracy and operational awareness Perform Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to evaluate the effects of potential disruptions on critical functions and operations Support Disaster Recovery Planning, with a focus on restoring IT systems and infrastructure following network or service interruptions Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
