Credentialing Coordinator Healthcare

Pay From: $25 Per hour

MUST:

The Healthcare Credentialing Onboarding Coordinator experience includes but is not limited to the following:

2 recent years of recent healthcare credentialing experience including maintaining and tracking staff licenses, malpractice insurance and health screens

Ensuring that staff licenses are current and up to date thru the credentialing database

Confirming that staff are renewing licensure prior to and health screens in a timely manner

Providing administrative and onboarding support to the manager

Experience reviewing certifications and licenses of healthcare staff and confirming they are up to date

Entering and terminating staff in the credentialing database-Modio experience a plus

Updating credentialing database with current licensure and health screen documents

Communicating with healthcare staff regarding upcoming expiration dates

Experience ensuring that clinical staff meet established NCQA standards as well as federal and state regulations

Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Bachelor's Degree preferred HS diploma required

DUTIES:

The duties of the Credentialing Coordinator include but are not limited to the following:

Maintain and track licensure of clinical staff and update as needed

Enter and terminate staff in credentialing database

Confirm that malpractice insurance is up to date

Create spread sheets of when licensure or documents are expiring and notify staff of upcoming expirations and update documents as received

Send out monthly notifications to remind them of upcoming expirations

Update the credentialing database with current documents during initial and re-credentialing cycles

Maintain all activities related to Other Licensed Certified Professionals (OLCPs) and clinical staff including initial credentialing and re-credentialing functions.

Ensure that healthcare staff meet all established federal and state regulations, as well as NCQA standards.

Send out monthly notifications regarding license/certification expirables

Manage and monitor Certified/Registered MAs' certifications and send out 90/60/30 day reminders regarding their expiration surrounding their certifications

Assist providers with inquiries regarding their credentialing and re-credentialing documents

Assist with Primary Source Verification (PSV) and the collection of any outstanding documents

Review provider files in preparation for audits

Organized and update documents and presentation for meetings

Handle any other duties as required
