MUST:


Experienced DoW Secret or Top-Secret clearance

10+ years of designing distributed systems, enterprise infrastructure and application architecture

5+ years of architecting solutions in AWS

Strong GovCloud

Familiarity with Azure

Experience supporting RMF, FedRAMP, and DISA SRG compliance

Solid hands-on experience with IaC

Strong experience with Kubernetes containers

Zero Trust security design is highly desired

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

High attention to detail and good problem solving skills

Relevant Azure or AWS professional or higher certification

Certified Kubernetes Administration (CKA) certification is plus

Relevant Security certifications is a plus

Bachelor's Degree or higher is desired

DUTIES:

Ideal candidate will help analyze business methodology in finding efficient alternatives

Design and implement provider-specific architectures in AWS GovCloud and Azure Government, including landing zones, subscription/account strategy, hub-and-spoke networking, private connectivity, and cross-domain integration. Define reference architectures for microservices, event-driven systems, API gateways, and service mesh

Develop Zero Trust cloud architectures integrating ICAM, conditional access, segmentation, and continuous monitoring

Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53, DISA SRG, and DoD IL requirements

Lead application rationalization and migration using the 7R framework

Develop wave plans, data migration strategies, and legacy system modernization approaches including re-platforming and refactoring to cloud-native services

Produce cloud boundary diagrams, control inheritance models, and SSP artifacts to support RMF authorization. Integrate automated evidence collection and continuous ATO capabilities

Architect secure data lake/lakehouse solutions and enable AI/ML workloads with GPU/HPC support in controlled enclaves. Implement secure data sharing and data fabric patterns

Define tagging strategies, cost allocation models, and TCO analyses. Implement automated cost controls and usage optimization aligned with mission funding models

Design enterprise logging, monitoring, and AI Ops strategies. Define SLIs/SLOs, multi-region DR, backup, and continuity architectures
