Pharmacist Owings Mills, MD Pay From: $55 per hour MUST: 2 plus years of experience as a Pharmacist Must have an active and in good standing Maryland Pharmacist License Must have Home Infusion experience Must have TPN therapy experience Must have sterile compounding experience with 797 standards IV certification preferred DUTIES: Pharmacist will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Assists new patient admissions through collaboration with nursing and intake staff Receives, verifies, reviews and documents all new patient orders Assists the physician in setting therapeutic objectives for drug therapy and establishing limits for monitoring the safety and efficacy of drug therapy Monitors the outcomes from drug therapy by collecting, evaluating and interpreting the results of laboratory data, clinical data and other pertinent patient information Communicates the results of therapeutic drug monitoring activities to the physician, nurse and other appropriate persons Completes and maintains appropriate documentation related to Medication Profiles, Progress Notes, Assessments, Care Plans and all other clinical activities, in accordance with applicable state laws, regulatory agencies, Company policy and procedure, and accreditation standards. Processes and checks all medications. Programs and troubleshoots infusion control devices as indicated Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
